Page 1 of Battle of Britain 2 disc set mispress

I ordered this set from Blah and sat down to watch the movie this afternoon and it was a major disappointment to find the movie is not there!

Is this a Gerry plot?

I have 2 discs labeled 1 and 2 respectively but both contain identical extras content but no movie.

Does anyone know if this was a faulty batch? Mine was shrinked wrapped when it arrived

Is there a market for mispressings such as this, as there is for mispressed records?

I have e mailed Blah about a return; it was bought (by me) in September as a christmas pressie (for me :D ) so I hope I don`t get any grief over a return.

Have to dig out something else to watch now.

They are aware of this problem. I had mine exchanged fairly quickly. It was an MGM fault, in bulk.

There are plenty of good extras on the second disc - I should know, I`ve got 2 of the flippin` things

And the score to the movie can be changed to play the original orchestral score by William Walton, which was dumped in favour of a Ron Goodwin score - still not bad - for the cinema release.

And my Dad took me to se it on it`s release when I was still in short trousers. It was the first proper film I saw, apart from Disney stuff. So it`s got a special appeal for me.

I`ll check out the reviews on this very site.
