Guess what !! Haven`t found a store near me that currently has them all in stock and at least 1 of the items is not available for ome delivery.

I bet they`ll have all gone pretty quickly. This offer`s been advertised for a couple of weeks now, one of the guys at work tried to get one early last week and they were sold out here.

I managed to get one with ring and reserve. I travelled 40 miles to a store with my number and their computer said the order had been cancelled. After alot of debate they would not honour the deal but gave me a £20 voucher for "petrol/to get me to leave". Another look on the net showed our local store had got them in stock. Another ring and reserve number and i got one and used the voucher so it cost £79.99.

A great present for my daughter for christmas ( Until she gets bored and i play with it )

I got one in Barnsley on Monday after reserving instore on Sunday. The F1 game still wasn`t in stock and was replaced with a rally game that looks more fun anyway.

Went to my local Argos at lunch-time.

Staff - "Sorry sir, we haven`t got the F1 game in stock"
Me- "Well would you be willing to swap it for one of the other games"
Staff - "No we can`t do that because there all bundled"
Me- "No they`re not. Its an offer where you have to buy all the separate items"
Staff - "Oh ! Sorry it has to be the itmes that it states in the catalogue"

Just check my local stores just out of interest and the item is available to reserve (Reading, Oxford Road).

I`ve just managed to reserve one about 40 miles away also :/ .

Now I`ve just got to get there to collect it and hope that it hasn`t been magically cancelled in the mean time, or, as I`ve just noticed, the offer appears to end tonight :( .

Oh well, I`ll check in the morning and if it`s gone back up, save some money!

I`ve fired it up and it works ok. It`s a Chrimo present for my lad so I thought I`d better check it out. I`m sure there`ll be more offers in the run-up to Xmas, whether or not any of them are in stock though is a different matter...
