Page 1 of pre order shrek for 0.01p

not sure about this but shrek is on pre order at dv depot for 1 pence. surely some kind of a mistake.
if i order it do they have too stick the price.
when i ordered road trip from game for £5 they stuck to it but it took some time to get it and a few nasty emails on my behalf

I would say that it`s pretty obvious that`s a "holding" price, until they get the real one..... mind you, you`d think they would state that in the info.

But on checking other pre order prices they seem to be correct-
ordered mine, just have to wait and see.

I seem to recall that Depot do this on all their pre-releases, and then up the price once they know it - it`s merely a holding price to get orders in. Hang back and wait till Play get it on pre-order is my advice.

when i saw the title of this thread i thought dv-depot and laughed. they always do this. You cannot buy it for this price. all it does is add it to your wish list and when it becomes available, the price goes up

I use both depot and play ( only for some r2 titles ie SOTL2 disc set) and depots prices are considerably cheaper that play`s!! and I dont just mean on pre book titles, I ll be uterlly surprised if Play have sherk @ a better pre book price, than depot!

I have been dv-depot for almost a year, and they are cheaper than playand the rest of them, as long as you order more than one disc at a time.

Shrek is still listed as "Still in cinemas", so it is at the holding price of 0.01p. The shrek disc has not been confirmed so a price cannot be fixed. However, Swordfish has had all its specs announced, hence the price changing from £0.01p (as it was a couple of weks ago), to the new price.

Even when they do put the price up, depot will still be one of the cheapest placest to buy!

Yip I agree the 0.01p price quoted is just a holding price read the following from the listing for SHREK :- "This Disc has not been announced, all info is subject to change. The price will be set once the disc is officially announced" C y`all
