Can`t even remember make, let alone spec - but was in Sainsburys, Hedge-End, Southampton - loads in stock.

if this can be confirmed "nationwide" i`d be VERY gratefull as it could pull me out of a jam i`m in :D

I phoned the Hedge End store at 7am this morning (took me till 10am though to get through to somebody who could check), all sold out. Apparently they are only going to be selling Sony?! Tried a couple of other local stores, who didn`t know anything either.

I phoned just now 17.20, got straight through to a girl called Gemma, who said they have plenty on shop floor, and probably more `out the back` though couldn`t confirm when the offer finishes or if they are getting more in.
I`m still debating wether to get one, even though i don`t really need one.

Anyone know the make and model?

Just been into Sainsburys in Hedge End to see for myself. Despite my phoning the customer service desk on Monday morning and being told `sold out`, guess what, they`ve got them in stock right in front of the customer service desk!

The make is their own brand LODOS, with no visible model number on the box, although on the back of the TV it has the imaginative model number 21TVDVD. Silver finish, twin scart, remote control and fastext. Not bad for £59.49

If it helps anyone the barcode on the ticket (which I have in front of me, still attached to the box) is 586-6265279-0-00-1

I know it`s asking a bit much for less than £60 but does anyone know if the dvd player will play region 1 dvds?

My 5year old is now watching her Region 1 of Finding Nemo, no need for a hack. Region one straight out of the box.
