I got these phones about a year ago ..... good little phones for the money tbh .... only problem is they don`t like water ... first one the Mrs dropped in the sink and the second one had a cup of water poured over it (kids) , the first one bit the dust , the second still working but with no screen .. which was blue when it was working and quite pretty but alas no more .

There made by Binatone and cost me about £50/60 at the time , so seems like a good bargain to me !

I was going to say the same as COOPS, they look like Binatone looking at the styling/functions. We`ve had a fair few Binatones over the years, and they`ve always been good value, and plenty of features for the money. We`ve never had any fail, only replaced them because newer models with more functions / nicer styling came out.

I`m quite tempted to get a set of these, as our last one with a built in TAM by them was pretty good.

I got an email from Argos this morning, after posting that last message to say the new catalogue is out today, and showing some of the new stuff. It had a new set of Binatone phones in it, £40 a pair (or £25 for a single one with answering machine).

We liked the look of these better than the Aldi ones, so we`ve got these. They`re nice looking, menus are the familar ones if you`ve had Binatones before, and we`ve set the E3300 we got last year in the Argos sell-off posted on here, as a 3rd phone on the system.

These are the ones we got Argos phones.

I just ordered a BT Diverse X5 Digital Triple Pack for just £39.99 from Amazon UK with free delivery.

The weird thing is that the Twin pack cost more at £49.99 and the Quad pack is a whopping £109.99

Ok - no answering machine but £10 more for extra handset and hopefully better quality.

I have just purchased this set, but the display appears to be weak/faint. The TEVION motif displayed when idle is generally weak but especially some segments of the "V" and the "I". Phone numbers when entered are a little better but still not very bright. I returned the 1st set I bought, hoping the replacement would be better, but is is not. Is this a fault or are they all like this. I phoned the help desk at 3.30 pm (the warranty card says 9am to 5pm) Got message saying 9am to 4pm !!!! mmmm. I think 3.30 pm is before 4pm is`nt it, but they did`nt answer !!! DOOOH. grateful for any info

Looks like a decent offer in Ebuyer too for a twin Binatone DECT E3250 (Their deal of the day), again no answer phone but looks good...
