I think Paypal is a rip off. They charge 3.4% plus 20 pence on all money received. Even when the funds you receive have cleared they take a percentage. The greed of Ebay is disgusting.

Yeah, I`ve just tried it and it didn`t work. Said it wasn`t redeemable from my Paypal account, so you must have to have the email sent to you.

It does seem a lot, but accepting credit card payments any other way would cost you far more.

i think paypal is a rip off as well.... i sell small things and the charges make it prohibitive,

i always put a note in when i sell stuff... and ebay can get stuffed

Willow : I knew it. I knew it. Well, not in the sense of having the slightest idea, but I knew there was something I didn`t know

£2 extra to pay by Paypal!!

I know it can be expensive (I sell quite a few smaller items too) but if you`re asking whose charges are extortionate... :/

I dont know how to say this without being insulting.....but...........

That disclaimer makes you sound like an idiot. If I was browsing one of your auctions and read that I would close the tab down without making a bid. Not only that, its against ebay policies to charge extra for paypal, so either you are lying or are lucky not to have your auctions thrown out.

Its people like you who add for paypal and try and make money on postage costs that are making Ebay a real pain in the arse. If you dont like it, list your stuff on Ebid.

And finally, trying to stay on topic, the 20% thing does work, apparently. My GF just bought a t-shirt.

Dear Gamesmaster,

My Friend keeps talking about `Girls`.
What is `Girls` and is it XBox compatable?
