This has been posted befor and I will ask again. Can It do 720p at 50Hz? You will need this for Sky HD.
All the best,
Dr 42%er.
It`s not easy being different. It`s not easy being cool....but somehow I manage....

Can you post a link? was it the one saying that it`s not important to have it as HD is too far away? My question would be why buy a HD ready tv if you do not intend to use it for that. Or has someone answered my first question. That`s all i want to know. To some of you HD is not an issue. For me it would be.
All the best,,

The page on the Aldi site clearly shows a "HD Ready" logo & describes the set as HD Ready.
My understanding is that to qualify for a HD Ready logo the TV must (amongst other things) support:
HD capable inputs accept the following HD video formats:
o 1280x720 @ 50 and 60Hz progressive ("720p"), and
o 1920x1080 @ 50 and 60Hz interlaced ("1080i")
So that`s a "Yes" it does (or at least "should") support 720p at 50Hz. If it doesn`t then I think you`d be entitled to take Aldi to court under the Trade Descriptions Act.
Further info on the HD Ready logo can be found here: http://www.eicta.org/content/default.asp?PageID=249

Have to ask: Has anyone bought one of these from Aldi and if so....................was it any bleedin` good?? Thanks and regards, lol, Roger.
RE: 32" HD Ready LCD Television £749.99
Yes.................and Yes!
:D
Myself and another from my office bought one each - both very pleased, very good picture (also bought the Aldi Audioline Freeview Box for £35 and works well!), dead easy to set up, looks really smart - and weighs ALOT less than the 28" `tube` TV it replaces!!!
Added bonus - has 4 games built into it as well!! :/

Well looks like I may have to replace our ailing 25" square, non-flat ferguson at last!! Thanks!

Is it safe to play an Xbox/Gamecube on this type of TV or is it likely to suffer from screen burn
