they both look pretty cool & are a design i`ve not seen before :D the prices of these things really has crashed, i`d just pick the one you like the most, but check the battery life etc, & imo, they still don`t compare (bang for buck) with hard drive players, for less than twie the price you could have 20 times the storage + a better file management system (generally speaking)

i`d be interested in a review if you get one tho ;)

Dont foget the previous thread on the iPod Shuffles, which you can find http://www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk/forums/thread.asp?Forum=223&Thread=409880&Type=1"" target="_blank">HERE.

Basically, you can get a 1GB iPod Shuffle for £80 + delivery..

Of course, if you have something against Apple then fair enough - I just thought I`d point out that there are more than 2 options at the £80 price point

I got a rio riot for £80 plus p+p from an Amazon seller just before xmas. It is 20gb and has much better headphones than the ipod. It`s a bit smaller than a small game control and very intuitive. And 500 odd albums at 128kbs. Just a thought.

cheers for the replies.i`d like to see a review on any of these mp3 players as well.
I`m new to mp3 players, so don`t really know the difference between these 2 for example and ones with a hard drive.
Am i right in saying that with an ipod you can only download mp3`s on it from the ipod site itself? maybe a stupid question, but like i said i`m new to this and my next mp3 player purchase will be my first mp3 player! i`m after at least 1gb and like the idea of the fm radio integrated with the player.

as far as i`m aware you can use you`re own stuff as well as the i-tunes store :)

i should mention my player of chioce is the archos XS200 20gig £169.99 from "toys r us" mainly cos you can just drag n drop files onto it like a regular hard drive, it can also use i-tunes playlists & standard m3u playlists (as used in winamp, musicmatch etc etc)

I`m new to mp3 players, so don`t really know the difference between these 2 for example and ones with a hard drive.

space is the main difference, & flash drives have no moving parts so are probably more likely to survive if they get dropped on concrete etc :)
