512MB MP3 Player £46.99 (inc. VAT)

At Makro sorry no link as have only just read the makro mail (front cover) starts 02/02/05 but experience would seem to say that these go on sale earlier at these prices so might be worth phoning your local store to check. Its called "Supportplus 512MB MP3 Player SP-MP3-512B-B"

Not sure if this is a big bargain or not for a 512MB MP3 player as the prices of these gadgets seem to be falling quicker than a hookers knickers at present :D

Hi
I bought one in Makro, Edinburgh too with the same problem
I got it right with the following
SupportPlus MP3 Player

Remove battery to reset. Replace battery and switch on.
Push mode button in once, then move mode button to the right 4 times.
Press mode button in once again and move the mode button to the right six times.
This will put you in the language menu.
Push mode button to the right or left to find the right language (English + GBK). When the right one is there, press the mode button in once.
Navigate out to the exit menu by moving mode button to left or right, select Exit by pushing mode button in. Do this again to get to the final exit. If this works, you will probably need to go back into setting to change all the settings you changed in foreign languages.

I just bought a 1GB MP3 player from Ebay last weekend for £56 with FM radio built in.

Comes direct from China.

Also bought another one with line in recordable direct to MP3 for £109.

www.aria.co.uk have some cheap mp3 players.
Most of the stuff on their website seems very reasonable to me.

I bought a cheap one from Microdirect a few weeks ago and it was dead on arrival. Loads of hassle from MD sorting it out, so I bought a slightly more expensive branded (Cowon) one from MP3players.co.uk, whose service was brilliant. There are differences in power consumption and sound quality, too, so it`s probably worth getting a known brand, such as iRiver, Creative, Sandisk etc.

You pays your money...
