In case anybody is looking for the cheapest Rocky 5-box set, after searching round for my son, I found the best deal at the moment is at Play 247. The price is only £39.99, postage free. Works out at £8 Per Film!

Roger they are doing the R1 version of the boxset for £5 more, do u know which version is better, as I am gonna buy it too but dont know which version to get.

I think that R2 are all anamorphic. R1 only 2 or 3 of films are.

The region 2 box set is all widescreen where as in the region 1 box set only 2 or 3 are widescreen. Also, from what I have seen I think the region 2 version has more extra features.

The region 1 and region 2 boxset contain exactly the same amount of extra feature, only Rocky 1 from the boxsets have extra features, the rest are just barebones apart from possibly a trailer and scene selection!!
Dvdpopcorn.com also have the boxset for £39.99....

My son posted the last message attributed to me whilst I was in work, so I have to take it that it is correct. It really is his order (My plastic only pays for it!). I suggest e-mailing the site (247), to confirm any differences, but I think the region 2 set looks a cracking buy, whatever it is! However, Gaz` discovery of the DVDStreet price is excellent. Well done!!

Its in Comet for £34.95 ... If you know someone with a Kingfisher card, e.g. works for comet woolies B&Q etc you will get 10% off. Works out at £31.45... this is a steal at £6.29 per disc. Apparently its in Tescos as well for the same price of £34.95...

Tescos` price for the Rocky Box set is £49.99 reduced to £47.99, as for Comets` price it`s hard to say without going into a store, as they don`t put any DVD software prices on their website! However if your right Mark, then that`s an incredibly cheap price!!
