One of the familys PCs broke and needed a new drive, so went to PC World and looked around for a while and ended up buying this drive, it is very good for the price. It came OEM with a black Bezel.

Would recommend to anyone wanting a DVD RW in a hurry

Shame I didnt see this post, would have saved me 15mins in PC World!

So you walked around for 15 mins and nobody asked if you needed any help? - They won`t get a very good mystery shop score! :(

Or did you say no? :/

The Philips DVD writer can write DVD`s at up to 16 speed. A DVD will hold 4.7 GB of data which is equivalent to about 6 times as much as a CD. The writer will also write to the new dual-layer DVD`s ( burns from the inside to outside of disc and then re-focuses the laser to the other layer on disc and then burns back in to the centre) which hold 8.5 GB of data. The writer will also write to CD`s as well at 40 speed and also play CD`s and DVD`s.

How many would you like sir? ;)

I work at PC World :) Sold £16,000 worth over last 2 days.

£16,000 worth of the Philips DVD-RW works out at 25 per hour. Yup, that`s the customer service I expect at PC World. :p
