Which processor is it, does it say?

Does the monitor have a DVI connector? or a response time 25ms 16 ms etc?

Aldi and Lidl seem to be copying each other now and even Netto seem to be getting in on the act, like someone said on here if the can shift x thousand units as a 1 week special good for them. I`ve had no problems with my Aldi PC

Why exactly should these items appeal to comuters?

I`d have thought some of the satnav kit would have been a bigger draw.

First post after months of perusing this place. Saw the A word (Acer) and just had to vent.

My advice is don`t touch anything made by Acer with a bargepole, no matter how cheap their goods or how long the bargepole is. I bought a 17 inch monitor from them In Feb this year. By July it had packed up. It then got sent to their Depot in Plymouth for fixing. Except they didn`t fix it. Nor did they know what was wrong with it. Every time I rang up them told me a new part was on order. I gave them a month before I got annoyed with hearing nothing and still not having my monitor. For every call to their support line I had to endure 14 minutes of Jean Michel Jarre, to then be told by some random idiot (they have plenty of random idiots there) that a part was still on order.

It finally took over 2 months to get a monitor back. I managed to blag an upgrade to a 19 inch, which was ok of them but I`d rather have not had the hassle in the first place. If this one goes wrong I will just boot it out into the road in front of the next 16 wheeler to go by and get myself a decent monitor.

Remember, the word Bin is in Bargain. (and Arga).

This acer deal at Lidl is very interesting.
I have for past two years insisted on acer, 7 laptops, 17 F1 desktops, not a blip. Rattled banged and abused but all rock solid.
Them TFT monitors had around 6 for over 6 months brill. Looks like will be upgrading the rest of the TFT`s for new year....
