Damn that is cheap! A guy here in the office bought one from ebuyer bout a month back, and he is really pleased with it, even though it cost him £70. At this price it is a bargain, just bought one!

If you are interested the rpoints link doesnt seem to work any more, but here is a direct link:

Bargain, thanks to the original poster.

Just the ticket, wife started 2 year part time degree course, and has been getting through my black ink jet cartridges at a fast rate, the price of the printer alone will be saved in the cost of the ink jet cartridges.

By the way, replacement toner cartridges (originals) are approx. £60.

Not sure what we will do when the "sample" one that comes with the printer runs out. It is good for approx. 1,000 pages, but on economy mode will do 2,000 pages, with apparently no reduction in quality unless printing lots of graphics.

thanks again. :)

I bought toner refill for my ML4500 (very similar) - easy to open the cartridge and fill it up - in fact I`d say easier than refilling an inkjet cartridge. IIRC a big tub of the toner was around £10.

Bought one last year 664 pages on still going strong - Removing & shaking the cartridge helps restore print quality (might just be down to lack of use).

If Mac users are "more intelligent than the average computer user," why do they need an operating system designed for complete idiots?

Thanks for the post on this printer. I have just ordered one. I have been waiting for it to come back on special!
Here is a link to a company that does refil toner bottles for £7.99. The FAQ section of the page gives instructions on how to refil the cartridge.
