went to lacal dixons yesterday they had r200 1 good printer for 49.99.. in small print when bought with dig cam..but 49.99 was in bold..so argued the case of misrepresentation and bingo got for 49.99 without cam..may work for others just argue

Just how small was the small print?
How easy was it to argue?
Which branch of Dixons?
Wet behind the ear college kid or seasoned floor manager ?

Not sure how you got away with that as the print can be as small as they like. In fact an asterisk or other symbol after the price leading to T & C`s elsewhere would be all that was needed.

I`ve seen this offer mentioned for PC World. the suggestion there though was to buy the cheapest digital / web camera they have. I think £19.99 now but £14 was suggested.
Doubt the resale value would be good.....any chance of later getting a refund on the camera?

You tightwad lol Just buy the damn printer - it`s very good. Give the crappy cam to a `loved one` for Xmas.
www.svp.co.uk do a full set of 6 carts for this baby for a tenner - beats £60 for a set of official Epsom carts.
