Sainsbury!

Picked up a MPman MP-F40 for £16.09. Granted it hasnt got a huge amount of flash memory ( 64mb ) but it does have a Smart Media slot for an extra 128mb avaliable from 7dayshop for £15.99 plus any postage charges. Think this would suit someone who`s on the road alot and enjoy`s there own choice of music instead of the crap played on the radio!

Ok fella`s, dont know if its a regional offer but I found my one ( more luck than judgement ) in the Rhyl North Wales store, the shelf had 17 of the little blighters marked down from £29.99. Might be best if you pop down to your local and ask ( have the model number ready! ) as they had only recently been put on sale and at that price wont last long. Might be an idea to grab what you can afford, at this price they are a steal!

[EDIT] YES PP by the tv`s vids dvd`s

Good luck chaps ;)

Thanks - really appreciate that, been in the two superstores here and nothing, got a spare card already so it would be really handy.

Found one of these (well the box anyway - I assume it wasn`t empty) in the electrical display cabinet at the Enfield Sainsburys today.
It had a price tag of £64.99 reduced to £34.99. When I got someone to check the product number on the till , it came up as £17.41 :) Result , I thought. The girl checked `out the back` and there weren`t any there. Could I have the one in the cabinet ? Yes , but she had to get the manager to open it up. Unfortunately , they have lost the key and they are waiting for a locksmith to come and open it for them. This probably won`t happen until Sunday :/ :o Could they reserve it for me ? No. They suggested that I ring them on Monday morning and see if they have opened the cabinet.
I shall probably pass on that as 1) it would probably make for a very confused phone call (Hello , Sainsburys Enfield ? Have you opened the cabinet yet ? :/ ) and 2) Enfield is some way from my home (I was just passing through) and I can`t really be arsed to make the trip (don`t really need an MP3 player , just be a nice cheap pressie for one of the kids).

So if anybody is in the Enfield area , pop in Monday morning and you may get a bargain - assuming that the box in the display isn`t empty :)
