Hi!
The Australian site EzyDvd has the X-Files boxsets priced at £29 approx including shipping and insurance. Also CDWOW has them priced at £28.99. They are encoded for region 2 as well. The only difference I see is that they are not digipacks (the foldout ones) but rather they are in seperate cases. I think they are amaray to be exact containing 2 disks each.
Has anyone ordered these boxsets? What about Customs?

Ezydvd will mark the packet as "gift" if they are told at time of placing order.This will help avoid customs with any luck. The limit into the UK is £18.00 for items marked merchandise and £36.00 for items marked as gift.
They are fast and reliable. :)

What happened to all the region 2 boxsets that were going to be re packaged and reduced dramatically to under £30 in the summer???

Cheapest I have found the Region 4 releases is from www.dvdcrave.com.au
At the end of July they will be selling Season 1-8 for £17.21 each (£22.89 with shipping) and as the value of the sets is less than £18 you dont have to worry about Customs.

Only problem with dvdcrave is that the x-files box sets are classified as "5-disc sets" which means the shipping charge to customer worldwide is $15!!!!

They still have the pre-order Boxsets listed at £17.33 each, think you are looking at the regular Boxsets mate.
Also, the price I stated in my original email did include the $15 shipping charge, have just checked again and the exchange rate must have changed as with the $15 shipping charge the Boxsets are now £23.05 each but even at that price they are still the cheapest available.
