From looking at the site all I can see is that the brand make is TEVLON. Any ideas if it can be made Multi region?
Thanks

The player is a Tevion TS-DVD1100 (Tevion is just a brand name for the Medion group, who normally supply Aldi PCs and other funky PC stuff, Tevion is the brand name they use for consumer electronics like TVs, DVDs, etc) and no, no idea re MR as it isn`t out yet :/

The picture on the flyer seems to indicate it will have a Mediatek chipset, so it should be relatively easy to hack - probably one of many hacks available (about 30 at last count !)

Hi - what are the actual advantages of a Progressive Scan DVD if you only have an ordinary RGB SCART rather than component inputs on your TV please?

Just pick one up, very nice looking piece of kit for the money. Multi region straight out of the box and it as played every disc that i`ve put it........ DVD-R & -RW, DVD+R & +RW, SVCD, VCD, MP3 , Kodak picture cd. The tray looks a little bit flimsy but i can put up with that minor gripe, even comes with a bog standard scart lead, on the whole very happy :D :D :D

Saw this advertised in the paper (Mirror I think), looks nice, but with Two channel analogue audio I presume it has no 5.1 or dts output?
