Why doesn`t this forum allow discount codes to be posted whereas most others do?

Somthing to do with it (often) being fraudulent, methinks!

I think you can provided you post the terms and conditions of the voucher and those T & C show that the voucher may be used by the whole world.

All the forums which I attend are clamping down on such activities these days.

Whats wrong with posting links to other sites, which have the offer listed?

Yup, the answers given by the posters above are spot on.

Certainly as far as La Redoute vouchers go, they are clearly noted as "not transferable" - with a direct link from this website showing up on their site logs, it won`t take them too long to figure out there`s a caring, sharing community here divvying up one voucher between 1,000 :D

DVD Forums got their fingers burned by both Littlewoods and CD Wow for allowing this sort of "nefarious" activity, with the threat of legal action at one stage :o

So, essentialy, post a code here with the full T and Cs or watch it get zapped.

As none of La Redoute vouchers were transferable, they simply should not have been posted here.

And as for linking to other forums showing the sites - just as bad - it`s up to those forums if they want to risk it, but don`t drag us in to it here :D

OK, fair points. But if someone just created a thread and all it said was `2376` (for example), surely you wouldn`t have to delete that would you? If there was no mention of La Redoute at all?

That would be one boring thread, most probably met with a load of scratching head smilies, if there were such a thing :)
