If you go through the `subscribe` link while hovering over the `interactive` tab at www.autoexpress.co.uk it brings up an offer that doesn`t mention paying £1.

You pay in advance for whichever type of subscription you choose and then once you`ve received your sixth issue you can cancel for a full refund. You still get the Ordnance Survey atlas.
