Perfectly good for continuous use, we`ve had the same model (also from Maplin - so far as I can remember) for at least 6 months and it`s been running non stop. No probs at all.

From the subject heading I had a fridge in a school uniform in mind :) - imagine a fridge that played `Back in Black` when you opened the door!
