CDWOW did have it for under a tenner I think a few weeks back - but looks like its back to £15. 2 Disc edition.

HK Flix: Approx £9.83. Used to be a good retailer - pay by CC not Paypal so if goods don`t turn up you can claim it back.

thanks for the reply.

the cdwow version is not 122 mins, which is the same with hkflix (incidently your link is to br2, not the original).

appreciate your help anyway.

the cd-wow version is the directors cut
see http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film_results_page.php?fid=1550
note that both tartan 2 disc editions are the longer version. also note that the shorter version is 114 minutes long and 117 minutes is approximately 5% shorter than 122 which can be accounted for by Pal speedup.
The only way you`ll get a double disc version for less than 10 pounds would be from hong kong and they only do the theatrical cut so you`ll just have to choose between price or content as is the usual situation with DVDS

see that`s something i dont understand the whole pal speedup thing. i know even the bbfc mention this as casuing a 4% cut in time, but where does this time go? if the film plays faster, shouldnt that make a difference when it comes to stuff like `24` which is meant to be real time? i guess the 4% doesn`t make that much of a difference when it comes to speech otherwise everybody would sound like they had helium :).
