Rent DVDs online - cheaper than blockbuster

Seems to be lots of free trials around for online DVD rental at the moment.Apart from the Lovefilm one through SplashDVD, MSN have got one with videoisland where you can have 5 DVDs out at once for £26.03 a month and the first 2 weeks are free :)

They also have the best deal on multiple discs - like the entire alien quadrilogy (counts as 9 dvds I think, but you can rent each one individually).

Anyone seen any other DVD rentals online?

I use Screen select, Total film have published a 30 day trial voucher. Works out to £14.99 a month for three at a time time but if you want to play less for 2 at a time or more for 4 or 5 at a time you can. Seems a quickish turn around too. I find it very good for tv series and if you have them delivered in any order you get through them farely sharpish.

I use MovieTrak, pay £13.97 for 2 DVD`s at a time, and am moving over to the one mentioned above advertised in TotalFilm. MovieTrak are pretty good with me, fast turnaround and stuff, but i`ve had "The Gift" in #1 queue posistion since i started with them (about 3 months ago) and still never been sent it, and now "A Clockwork Orange" is #2 and hasn`t been sent for a few weeks.
Dont get me wrong, they definately aren`t a bad company, but ive seen the one advertised in TotalFilm do 3 DVDs a time for virtually no more money.

I know someone who`s also with MovieTrak (until the end of the month anyway, when they cancel) who had 2 DVD`s go missing in the post with MovieTrak and it took them a while to sort it out, and also said their support line wasn`t very good.

Whilst there is so many companies out there doing 14-30 free trials, you may as well take a free trial with them all and find the best one for you, i`m sure they are all good at specific genres, just gotta find the right one for you!

Regards,
Dave.

I had ScreenSelect, who started really well but the service deteriorated to such a poor level I cancelled last week. In the meantime I took a subscription to dvds365.com whose service has been exceptional over the last 3 weeks, although I have had a couple of badly scratched discs.

I`m currently also on a one month free trial with movietrak, whose service has also been very good. I`m unlikely to keep this up, though, because it is not as good value as dvds365.

Or as this is supposed to be a bargains forum why not do what I do. Just take up one or two 30 day trials, cancel them after 30 days and then take up a new one. Bugger the £14 a month.
