I think i`ll take a look in Hull tomorrow... not sure i want one but at that price, you cant complain... are there any Game Cube games that are better than their PS2 brothers?

why bother with crap ports of crap PS2 games? get yourself one immediately and
buy Metroid Prime / Mario Sunshine / Super Monkey Ball / Resident Evil (yes I know
it was a PS1 game) / F-ZeroGX / 1080 Avalanche / Mario Kart DD!! then marvel at some
seriously class games :D

That was my problem, i looked through a list of GC games and the only ones that took my fancy that you couldn`t get on the PS2 was Mario Kart DD and the Resident Evil Games (which are now back on the PS2), so really i was wondering if the GC offered improved graphics, loading times etc. over the PS2 (which i already have) for equivalent games?

Yes, graphics are far better and loading times are miles better. Trust me, there`s lots of quality games on the Gamecube; grab a Gamecube magazine and see for yourself! :D

Depends upon how much time the developer spent updating the game. Steer clear
of EA stuff, they do really bad ports. It`s worth having a GC just for Nintendo`s own
library of games, Mario, Zelda, Metroid, FZero etc. btw if you buy a `Cube you get an offer for a free disk containing 4 older Zelda games, Ocarina of Time is absolutely
magnificent even after nearly 6 years.

Go on, Buy one, you know you oughta :D

Dont know if this has been posted but WH Smith at Cheshire oaks were selling Cubes with the gameboy attachment for £39.99. The Cube did not come with any games but they were selling a limited number of games for £10. I bought mine on sunday and they were selling like hot cakes.

WHAT! That`s bloody amazing! Must be a pricing error surely.

Well done.
