photo printer looks a good buy, i was after an all-in-one printer but not Lexmark, as i already have an old 3200 and don`t wish to pay their cartridge prices anymore.

Quality is an issue as i have 5 meg camera so i need it to have excellent photo reproduction qualities... price is not so much of an issue but i would like to keep it under £200 if possible.

Any advice suggestions from those of you with experience with these out there greatly appreciated!

The Belkin kit looks attractive. The router scores 8 out of 10 on zdnet here. The whole kit would cost over £110 on ebuyer although the router only scores 3 out of 5 with ebuyer users.

The P7762 is only available from the Dixons group. It looks very much like the Hewlett Packard Photosmart 7760 (except the 7762 has a higher print speed) which according to pricerunner is available for £130. £30 less for a faster printer is still a good deal but perhaps not such a bargin as it first looks.

Just wondering where you got details of the contents of the Belkin 54G wireless pack. Can`t see them anywhere on the PC World site. Just says: "BELKIN WIRELESS NETWORKING NOTEBOOK CARD"

Yes - the site is crap - and it`s (the Belkin) now showing no stock.... but I opened up the box instore and contains one box with the router in it and one box with the PCMCIA card in it. Both are 54G. And are also the same boxes as the ones on the shelves when sold individually at the prices I mentioned above.

I am very tempted to go back and get one tomorrow but not sure of the quality ... as a comment above suggests it may not be that good.

I actually only need a ADSL modem but like the thought of being able to use my PC anywhere in the house (or even outside). I presume I would need just need a ADSL modem which would connect from the phone line to the wireless router - which would rule out USB modems(???) I`m not well up on this - but will be by the time I`ve bought it all. Haven`t even signed up to an ADSL ISP yet!

At a glance (assuming that the one reviewed at ZDNet is the one provided by PC World), the router doesn`t seem to have a built in ADSL modem in which case you need a seperate modem.

EDIT: Not sure what connections the router has either :/

I can`t remember which of the 2 routers it was .... I couldn`t see any major difference between them in the shop... the one that came in the kit seemed to be compatible with slightly more stuff so I think it could be the 1st code I gave above.

I know I would need a modem with it but not sure what. I was advised not to get the USB modem Pipex give out as standard - but I can`t see how a USB modem could work in any case. It would have to be a modem with an ethernet connection wouldn`t it? You can see the connections on the Znet review by looking at the back image

Yup.. go for ethernet. The router should have a WAN ethernet port where the connection from the modem plugs in.

URL`s no longer work. What was the code for the Belkin?
