Where did you get the 58p per disc shipping from???, just tried to order and it came up with £1.73 per disc shipping that was with Surface mail too ?

Hi,
It`s £1.74 (or thereabouts depending on the exchange rate at the time of ordering)per item if you order them seperately,as you need to pay £1.16 per order,no matter how many items(max of 12 iirc),plus 58p per item.
I ordered 5 DVDs(and thanks for the tip by the way),the total shipping cost by surface mail came to £4.02

i.e. £1.16 +(5 x .58p)=£4.06 (well it`s close enough!!)

Hi,
I thought I`d bump this up to the top and say that my 5 DVDs arrived this morning, all present & correct.
Truly fabulous service, and the delivery time is unbelievable.
I selected the cheapest postage(international surface mail) and was expecting to wait 3 weeks or more, but 9 days after ordering it it`s here already, the parcel stamped `priority air mail`.
No extra VAT to pay either.
Also they do not charge you until the goods are dispatched, unlike some.
I am very impressed with this lot,the product descriptions are sometimes a bit thin, but they have a handy currency converter,so you can see what you are paying in £`s rather than $`s which is nice.
SplashDVD should try and learn from these guys,I understand it`s not appropriate to slate companies off on this forum but suffice it to say if it were appropriate,I would, with kn*bs on.

hi dohc,

did the dvds come packaged stating what the parcel was worth? just wondering if they lied about the true value in order to save the customer from import taxes - like dvdsoon? or do you have to order each dvd separately in order to be safe

cheers fo the help

Before Christmas I ordered the Scarface Region 1 Deluxe Gift Set, and they charged me £9 P&P!

Still cheaper than PlayUSA. And received in super quick time, despite them saying it wouldn`t be here for Xmas.

Hi Featherstonehaugh,
On the box was a stamp,it stated total value as $20(the order total inc. postage was $69),& it was described as `software`.So they sort of lied unless you read it as the 5 DVDs were worth $4 each.
There were 3 options as to type of contents, either gift, merchandise or commercial sample. They marked it as merchandise.
For the saving I was making versus UK prices I was prepared to absorb a bit of tax/duty,I toyed with the idea of ordering a pair at a time to avoid any possible taxes but could not be arsed in the end for the sake of a couple of bucks.Plus the postage would be more expensive the more you fragment the order.

Jim;
Hi,on the site it says that their postal rates are now lower than before,I wouldn`t be able to verify that as I never discovered them until this thread(thanks Jon747!!),but there are 3 options now,and the cheapest option which I selected was very reasonable indeed(see above posts)and in fact it turned out that although I opted for the cheap one,I got the intermediate one.
I would check them out again for sure.

Just to echo the same thoughts about the service from dvdpacific - I ordered on the 31st December, was sent by them on the 2nd Jan, even with surface post selected it came by airmail and was here today (6th!). Came with Software $20 marked on customs form. Inceidentily, the customs form was not the usual green label, but an `ink stamp` version, which could easily be missed by our friends in Mount Pleasant - It was on the short side of the box, rather than on the from where the address label was.

Great prices, great deilvery, and what else do you say Splash!!
