I didn`t realise this company was still going. I could have sworn they went bust a year or two back.

They got in real trouble and did stop selling a couple of years ago while they got refinanced/bought out. They have been around ever since.

Just had a look at it, it`s just a collection of all those Hollywood type box sets you get.

Mortal Combat 4 and 5 anyone?

But even then, it seems like one of those "Bid Up" type TV channels - where their guide price seem to be plucked out of thin air (49.99 best price dvd player with avg retail of 89.99 ... except 2 seconds searching on google give me £43.40)

This space for sale

. <--- Except this bit, its mine.

A small warning about using Letsbuyit.

They often act as agents for other companies - the problem is that it is a great way of by-passing the normal consumer protection laws as your contract isn`t with Letsbuyit. In such cases the supplier may not help as they havn`t entered into a contract with you, their contract is with Letsbuyit. This equals `Limbo Land` for the buyer.

If you have a problem it can be difficult to establish who is at fault and dear old Trading Standards get so confused they cannot help - bless them they do try.

I`m not saying don`t use them - just be aware of your status in relation to Letsbuyit when you place an order as it isn`t always clear. I am sure that the vast majority of their customers are very happy - as you may be able to tell I wasn`t!
