RE: Cheap Sat Nav??
The TomTom has touch screen and auto volume (speed related) - both absent on the i3.
BUT it is almost twice the price!!
Personally I got the Garmin i3 - arrived today and I`m impressed. I just want to find a reasonably priced source for adding Europe - anyone got any ideas?
RE: JVC DRM10 DVD recorder
8 left!!
RE: Cheap Sat Nav??
Does the BP map show me where Acacia Drive is in Chuffing Sodbury?
RE: Nokia 3100 Refurbished PAYG O2 £9.99 Incl P&P
Mine arrived too - none of the unlock codes worked - off to market to see a man with a laptop!!
RE: 2-way radios - £8.73!!!!!
They are still honouring the price as the web page hasn`t been updated to the higher price yet.
Kingston Upon Thames let me have mine at the £8.73 price this afternoon.
Great spot.
RE: 4400 on DVD from (yeah ok I know they suck) DVDSoon
DVD SOON are RUBBISH.
Ok - if they get your order right then fine BUT when they get it wrong they put you through the hoops in such a way that it is obviously designed to make you give up and them keep your money.
A seller should NOT be judged by when things go right - it is the way a seller deals with a problem that shows how good they are. When there is a problem THEY ARE RUBBISH.
RE: 8X Full-Face-Printable G05 RITEK DVD-R 50 Tub £16-81
Ritek are one of the BEST discs.
I have burned about 150 with no coasters. What is more - I have tried other brands (including Very expensive Taiyo Yuden) and my player baulks at any disc other than Ritek.
Each to their own but Ritek is acknowleged by many to be a very good dye/disk.
RE: Panasonic RAM Player DVD S27 £35 delivered
Its a good price BUT its a `like new` item - which presumably means returned stock and the warranty is 90 days or whatever is left from the manufacturer.
RE: Aldi from Thursday 13 Jan - TV tuner card £25; DVD+/- burner £60; 250GB Hard Drive £80
The cheapest card I can find that does digital TV is £47 - that £20 more.
Do you have a link/model for the one thats £10 more (don`t forget the vat).
RE: Woolworths mobiles - absolutely astounding deals!!!
Finally got mine today - they came with the hi-fis, but not the spare covers. I rang customer services as the boxes claimed they included a spare cover (should be under the actual phone I the phone box) but wasn`t going to push it. They referred me to my local store who gave me the two spare covers - thats 2 daughters happy for christmas.
Well done Woolies!!
RE: PanasonicDMRE55 or JVCDRM10
Latest edition of Which tested both.
It said buy the JVC - the panasonic was good, JVC the best in test.
JVC does more formats and the link for a camcorder is very useful as it controls the camcorder and makes recorded much easier (though no better quality) than with the s-video on the panny.
RE: Woolworths mobiles - absolutely astounding deals!!!
I havn`t got mine.
I ordered mine 17.25 hrs on Sunday 17th October.
Has anyone who ordered after me got theirs - I know a mate who ordered 2 hours later got his nearly a month ago!!!!!
RE: Woolworths mobiles - absolutely astounding deals!!!
Nope - still waiting
RE: aldi dvd recorder £120 out Dec 7th
This is also badged as the Relisys - £89 at Staples (one left at Sth Harrow)
RE: £19.99 DVD Player From Curries
Multi-region hack posted as follows:
AD-1100
Multi-Region:
Open the tray
Press 3, 4, 9, 7, 3, 4 and 0 for region free, 1 for region 1 and so on
If you've selected region free then the message "region free" appear .
The reviews give it a rating of 3/5 - not bad for £20
RE: Band Of Brothers..cdwow £23.99
£29.99 at WH SMITHS stores - region 2 and no hassle.
RE: Woolworths mobiles - absolutely astounding deals!!!
Having found out that a friend who ordered several hours (and hundreds or thousands of orders) after me got his phones early last week, I again asked where my phones are.
They cannot find the order - fortunately I have the confirmation e-mails that my orderwas received and subsequently that it is being processed.
I suggest if you don`t have yours - don`t accept the generic `there is a delay` response I got a few days ago - they may have lost the order!!
Be kind to them though - they have been VERY decent in the way they honoured the deal.
RE: Woolworths mobiles - absolutely astounding deals!!!
I queried where my 2 phones are - got this reply this morning:
Thank you for your e-mail.
Please be advised that there has been a delay in your order due to large volumes
of orders being dispatched. We apologise for the delay.
If you have any further issues, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Hope that helps all you others who were worried - just wondering though if the HiFi will be delivered as I recall it said `subject to availability` - unless I`m wrong (again).
RE: MP3 cd car head unit. £59.99
Couldn`t agree more - my little 10 year old rover was dead easy to fit this to.
Standard connectors just plugged in and as Mark said, bend the tabs on the cage and in it went. 10 mins.
RE: MP3 cd car head unit. £59.99
The photo is of the same unit that was posted a couple of months ago - I bought one as a result of that posting.
It`s quite a good unit - uses standard fittings so took literally 10 minutes to install.
The performance is OK, a bit slow when you switch to CD (about 30 seconds) and the `Traffic` function often causes it to revert to CD when the broadcast has finished rather than the radio it was on before the broadcast.
Overall its good value.
RE: Woolworths mobiles - absolutely astounding deals!!!
I responded to the e-mail (which did seek a response) yesterday but my order doesn`t show a `status` - it is just listed an `active order`, even if I go to the `details of order` page it just shows the date, cost of order and the delivery address.
The quantity, item, item price, usually ships sections are blank.
Where did you find the status - there doesn`t seem to be anywhere else to view my order?
RE: 7250i £59.99 t-mobile
Listed as sold out now!!
RE: Woolworths mobiles - absolutely astounding deals!!!
Thanks - nice spot - ordered 2 for part of my daughters Christmas pressies.
The Sagem seems to get a better write up than the sony, though the walkman that comes with the sony seems to be a sony as well.
Fingers crossed
RE: Argos clearance 75% *OFF* loads of items, starts Fri Oct 8
Thanks to the poster - great spot. Got myself the JVC Camcorder down from £589 to £147, wow.
Still available are the following, not great but useful:
Laptop case (up to 12.1" screen) £15 down to £3.75 - 676/3279
Polycarbon Camera case (takes compact camcorder) £15 down to £3.75 - 570/5245
Large water resist camera bag also £15 down to £3.75 - 570/5379
Anyone got any other available catalogue numbers?
RE: Blue Planet
I bought one at £9.99 - they accepted the order then cancelled it without telling me - VERY POOR SERVICE
RE: Sagem MYX2 on T Mobile PAYG - £14.05 Delivered
Mine arrived today but the invoice attached says a value of £29!
The e-mail confirming the order said £14.
At the moment I don`t know what they charged my card.
Does anyone know if they quote the normal price on the invoice or do I have a problem Houston?
RE: Maplins Deals
Those DVD+RWs are available here:
http://www.dvdrsales.co.uk/product_info.php/products_id/171
for £5.88 for 10 (= £11.76 for 20 - saving over £3 on Maplins)
DVD SOON - BEWARE
An order for `World at War - Box Set` was returned to DVD Soon for replacement as it had the wrong DVDs in the box!
They insisted on following their replacement procedure and threatened to end my account if I obtained a credit card refund as I am of course entitled to do.
DVD Soon ordered a replacement, but a couple of months later cancelled the replacement order saying that it has been discontinued and replaced with a more expensive set.
They have kept the money ($100), and not refunded or credited my account. They have not answered weeks of e-mails. This is 6 months old now - I think I have been very patient.
A phone call to Canada (cost me lots) got a promise of a refund which they have not done.
I have had dozens of orders from them without complaint but they are VERY poor if there is a `non - standard` problem - beware.

Shame about the lack of RGB - but check out the price!
RE: DVD Recorder with 80GB HDD & timeslip at £299
What Video & Widescreen TV gave it 4 out of 5 stars.
The only criticism was the lack of RGB input. BUT they said it was excellent and well worth the £700 asking price!!!!!
