I was thinking of getting LOTR when all 3 films come out on DVD. probably at that time there will be a nice box set like the back to the future trilogy..

but now i`m confused whether i should wait or not.. the four disc extended version is very tempting indeed but I fear that if i buy it, in the future there will be a 12 disc super edition of LOTR trilogy.

my dilemma, to buy or not to buy :/

by the way is there any difference betweek the R1 release and the R2 release?

D`oh - this is the one that was posted on here last night, but we thought was £25.99 - didn`t see that there were offering the R1 version for £9 less - apologies to the original poster :o

Looks like it may have been a rare CD WOW pricing mistake as Region 1 is now coming up at £24.99.

Double d`oh - this posting relates to the Fellowship of the Ring, not the Two Towers.
