heard a whisper that Dixons are also discounting freeview boxes over the bank holiday might be worth a look if anyone is after a different model than what Argos have and also John Lewis are selling the Labgear DTT100 setpal for £79.50.

Is freeview worth it?
what channels do you get?
if any1 has it - do you reccomend it?
im thinking of the thomson model - how does it compare to the others?
Any hidden costs a la tivo?

I would consider buying a top box if you can get one with at least one sports channel...even if it is eurosport...and thats a free to view channel on sky... Does any one know if there is any freeview boxes on the market that supplies a sports channel within its channels?....

Freeview is a set of channels supplied by the BBC and are the same no matter what the make of box is.
