Read the following over at AV Forums-
"Go to http://www.cd-wow.com and you`ll get a popup with a discount, refresh a few times and you might get a £2.99 discount voucher. It`s on all titles, however, can only be used once, and doesn`t apply to total cart, just one title."
Tried it, got a £2.99 discount first time! Ordered Catch me if you can for only £11.00 The guy who posted it is Garbo- not a member of that forum so I can`t thank him myself, but if any of you are members, tell him thanks from me.

I tried it and all I got was Cadburys Creme Egg promotion to get 34p off anything on the site.Im probably doing something wrong.

in the address bar it will say www3.cdwow.......etc change it to www1.cdwow........etc

Finally got the £2.99 . I put numbers 1 to 6 in front of ".cdwow.com" and then repeatedly selected them from my address bar in order.Once you`ve done it to one link you can`t do it again without logging off then back on again. Got "The Crow" region 2 DTS 2 disc set for £7.

By all accounts it`s totally random, with the option of 34p, £1.99 or £2.99
The URL you use (ie www1, www2, etc) makes absolutely no difference - someone over at DVD Forums tried all six and got 34p each time.

But at least having 6 different URL`s means you don`t have to log out then in after every single attempt at getting the elusive"£2.99".
I just found this in my "History" don`t know if the link is active on it though.

theres a hidden bit of code in the page source code that points to the correct discount promotion... you could pretty much use it over and over again if you know what your looking for although CD-Wow have gone to great lengths to prevent £2.99 off every product they sell again and again abuse... anyhow I managed to get a £2.99 discount by luck... so keep trying folks even the £1 off is good deal...

Thanks for this, I ordered Jackie Brown for £6.00. A pretty good comeback by CD-WOW after the Roger Rabbit fiasco methinks! I dont think anyone who has seen this or the corresponding posts on other forums will settle for anything less than £2.99 because they know they can get it, but we are the biggest spenders so its ok. Many new people, or people who dont visit forums will happily settle for the 34p or whatever.
