Its another foreign food firm on the same lines as Lidl and Aldi.
I think it`s dutch but I maybe wrong.
I`ve been there before in the past and I can honestly say the tinned food is slightly more edible than Aldi(I feel a libel claim coming on).
Try it for yourself see what you think, although the Dvd player won`t be edible(only kidding).

Apparently this is the hack

Try the following steps on your remote control;

1. Press `Open`
2. Then type in `7,2,8,1,8,0`

Hope this helps LMK especially if it`s hacks the MACRO.

batman15 could you clarify what sort of connectivity this machine has ...
Does it have DTD/DD optical or coaxial output sockets ?
Does it have analogue 5.1 RCA outputs for sound ie individaul sockets that you could connect to and amp ?
Does it have an RGB scart socket ? (1 or 2 scarts) ?
I think it plays MP3 on CDR/RW (is the MP3 interface easy to use ie Windows Explorer type thing with song titles etc ) what about VCD or SVCD ?
Does it play home made DVDR/RW discs ?

As dave111 says what do you think of it overall what is the piicture quality like although it is a pretty cheap player does it feel cheap and plasticky ?

Sorry for so many questions :) but it looks like quiet a good player but with very little informatiomn on the net. Anyway thanks in adavance for your help.

asad,
I bought this machine on friday and am quite happy with it, but it is my first foray into dvd.
can`t tell you about the sockets at the back as i am not with dvd at the mo.
It does play mp3`s but the interface is functional but v.basic.
It does play copied dvd`s including multi`s.
It does not play vcd`s
The quality isn`t bad, but it is lightweight.
Remote is fine, even comes with batteries.

interested to hear what other buyers say, could be tempted to return it to netto if everyone says its rubbish

Bought one last week for my caravan. I have a Toshiba as my main player at home and although the picture quaility is not as good for £50 you cant go wrong. Not tried the multi region code but it does play MP3 etc and i am very happy with mine.
