Page 1 of Olympus 2 mega pixel digital camera (again) - £99 @PCWorld

PC World are doing the same Olympus digital camera for £99, for Boxing day only apparently - handy for any of you that missed it last time.

I had read somewhere though, that most manufacturers will be knocking out this sort of spec camera at a similar price, not too far into the new year, so might be wise to wait.

I have just bought the Canon IXUS V2 digital camera for £190 from Comet (after a heated arguement with the manager). Great spec, 2 mega pixels, 2x Optical zoom and small !!!

why the heated arguement?

1) is the smart card for the olympus different than the kodak 3700 ones ?

2) the review mentions a panorama function available using olympus
cards - i bet they are much more expensive ?
