l saw light sabres, yoda, R2 D2, the gay robot, but it didn`t feel like Star Wars....

Yeah. There were some light-sabre noises, some light-sabre fights. There was a smattering of droids.
But the lack of acting ability made the whole thing just another showy special FX platform.
IMHO, Yoda was the best actor in the film.

Now don`t get me wrong, I think Star Wars was a classic film, but are you trying to suggest that Mark Hamill had any acting ability ??????
These films are regarded as classics in spite of the acting, not because of it.

It`s the bad acting and terrible script that make it Star Wars, at least Jar Jar Binks was hardly in it and no furry ewoks. ep3 is gonna be gooood

Lucas lost the plot years ago!
Episode 3 (whats he going to call that "The Dark Cloak"?) should be good. Back before Phantom Menace, we were all looking forward to seeing Star Wars again, but after Menace and Clones, Lucas has no hope of making a good film, unless new writers, producers and directors come in!
Lucas got lucky with Star Wars, other film makers came in and made it better. lndy had Speilberg.
