I would say out of all the high street stores Virgin seem to have the best sale on dvds.
i managed to pick up Alfie(original)£3.99,Ed Wood£4.99,Brazil£5.99&Scanners£4.99.
Also in Music Zone i picked up Dark Blue and The Good Thief for £2.97 each.
Choices have seem bargains on some ex rental dvds-i got School Of Rock&The Last Samurai(2 disc) for £3.97 each.
Plus MVC are doing Kill Bill 2 for £7.99

i have a chipped sanyo 1500 and rce discs work fine.do you know anybody with a r1 copy of the perfect storm or any warner bros r1 discs?if you do they are all rce so try them.

I HAVE A CHIPPED SANYO 1500 MACHINE,WHEN I PLAY DEEP BLUE SEA(R1)AND THE WONDER BOYS(R1) THE PICTURE GOES SHADOWY AND THERS LIKE LINES OF LIGHT ON THE SCREEN-ITS NOT A MAJOR DISTRACTION BUT DO I NEED THE MACHINE FIXED,NEW SCART LEAD OR IS IT JUST WARNER BROS AND PARAMOUNT DISCS THAT HAV THIS EFFECT?I HAVE OTHER REGION 1 DISCS AND NOT HAD THIS PROBLEM.PLEASE COULD SOMEONE GIVE ME AN IDEA
