RE: dvdsilvers.co.uk

OK so 5000 bare DVD disks @ less than £1,so how much for 100,000?
Anyone know the breakdown of the pricing structure of a DVD film @ high street prices ? Who`s ripping who off here! bearing in mind that dvd and video are an offspin from the main target of films for cinema release. Not to mention TV sales, sound tracks, merchandise etc.At the end of the day you pay your money and take your choice.I for one do not feel I am being ripped off. Most "pirate" sites state clearly "silvers" some where in the URL or title, so lets not kid ourselves that we are being ripped off. After all its just a question of time, buy it now or watch it on tv later for nothing, rather like hard back books and paperbacks, same content different quality!!!!!And yes I buy hard back books because I know the medium will still be around in 50 years time, I wonder how many film viewing formats we will all have to upgrade to over the same time span and at what cost? And each time we will buy our favourite films again in the next new format. That is if you can get them , any one bought The silence of the lambs lately that wasn`t on a silver ?God I`m starting to ramble now,I`m gone!

Regards Carter

RE: dvdsilvers.co.uk

I use them all the time but as this is my first post it doesn`t carry any weight. They are pressed grade A DVD`s of very good quality and well presented, and have all the film extras. They are region 0.

Some points of interest-

Re-"And it only costs £1 to make them"...Where can you buy a spindle of DVD`s @ £1 per disk ?

Re-"profiting from ignorance"...If you are commenting on a product that you appear to have no knowledge of, then this could be ignorance perhaps ?

Re-"enjoy your shackles"..."they may take you down with them"...and suggestions that the FBI will come and smash your front door down seem to be bordering on the hysterical. You guys need to calm down a bit!

I suppose your CD burners only get used for backing up your personal files from your hard drive...NO...I didn`t think so! So come off the moral high ground a tad,and don`t get so paranoid!.... But just to be on the safe side hide all your region 1 films in case some one from the major distributors thinks you are trying to rip them off (yea it was a personal import)
