Thanks for the reply. The original hack was posted on the 13th of June by mew, included the info. to enable VCD, and suggested the hack may work for two other players. Pleased to hear from you, will keep seaching, and post any positive results. Regards.

Having now successfully made this multi-regional by using the hack posted by Mew in June, I now need to know how to disable the Macrovison on my machine so that I can record DVD`s. Can anybody help?

Have successfully made my 122 play multi region using hack posted by mew on Wed. the 13th june, which is basically as you say:-
1. Turn power on ( no disk in drive)
2. Press menu
3. Then press 1, 6, 7, and press mute to get all regions.
4. Press exit.
I carried all this out on my remote.
Hope this helps. Have another go.
