if your tv has 2 scart sockets use socket 1 as only 1 is RGB......
You will need a RGB Scart lead......its a commom problem with ps2`s(Green Screen) With DVD`s
Alba 104 Region 1 Macro!!!!!!!!
Hi all.just got a Alba 104 everything plays(vcd,MP3`sRegion 1)with no hack had a job finding a 104 could get 113 all day long..records everything to video BUT tryed a Region 1 Toy Story 1+2 and it records with macro then tryed Screem 1+2+3 (Region 2) records fine..
Anyone had probs with Region 1 DVD`s in this way.

This dvd player does not play vcd`s.Had to take mine back,tryed to get the 104 but there not selling them any more and theres none left in any argos in the north east of england..the 113 is macro free!!!
so if u have vcd`s try to get the 104. IF U CAN.
The 113 is worth the money if u only have dvd`s..i also have the phillips 711 which plays everything (with The Hack)But has Macro...

I got a 113 today i has to go back not playing vcd`s but it seemed to copy dvd`s no probs.m8 of mine has the alba 104 it plays vcd`s +copies them

the philips remote only does the job for 25 times,ive just got the philips 711 which uses the same remote hack but i used the 1 for all 4 Digital its cheaper than the 1 for all 6 which people are using,+ with using these remotes its unlimited times and auto region..

Has anyone tryed any other 1for all remotes that work on the 711 model apart from the 6. i saw somewhere that the one for all digital works has any1 tryed with this,if so does it work..
Will this remote hack still be limited to 25 times!!!

i think you`ll be looking to pay more like £100 for something half decent,Kenwood,Sony etc up to £200.......
Phillips 711 mods help!!!
Just got a Phillips 711 and now looking for the mods muli-region and macro disable if posible can anyone tell me the best way to get around these,i saw the multi-region hack but only for 25 times is this the only hack,are there any hardware hacks for this player chips etc..
