RE: MATSUI 110 Hack ?

I`ve got a Clatronic DVD100 which is funtionally identical to the Oritron DVD200 and I think also similar to the Matsui DVD100, it uses the same multiregion hack...

There is a remote-control "hack" to get VCD disks playing at http://allvols.virtualave.net/vcd.htm and it works on mine. I`m still having problems get home made VCDs to play though :-(

RE: WWW.EZYDVD.COM.AU/

More evidence of their excellant service, "The Music Box" (Region 4) Laurel and Hardy compilation arrived this morning from http://www.ezydvd.com.au in just 3 days, works out about £12, I don`t think this disc is available in the UK.

RE: Richer Sounds

I recently bought a Clatronic DVD100, which is related to the Matsui DVD100, from them. It was not the cheapest or highest spec player (though it is multiregion and VCD compatible (not CDR)) BUT the big bonus with Richer Sounds is that for 20GBP you can buy an extra 2 years warranty, cheaper than the high-street rip-offs. In addition, provided you don`t visit them on Saturdays (when they tend to be very busy), the customer service is excellent.

No I don`t work for them :-) I just rate good customer service.

3 Days delivery and cheaper then Play247.com

yesterday I received "Pink Floyd the Wall" from http://www.ezydvd.com.au/ in australia, delivery took just 3 days. It was cheap to, with shipping it cost £12.11, Play247.com sell it for 14.99 and Blackstar sell it for £19.09... bargain! They`ve got a good selection and the prices on recent releases on that much more.

RE: What player do you have, so I can work out the which players have sold the most.

Clatronic DvD100 Its not as bad as the name suggests :-) ..

RE: Universal remote controls

I`ve been very pleased with my Cambridge Audio M500, from Richer Sounds (no I don`t work for them!). This cost 30GBP and is a learning remote, but its robust (no touch sensitive screen), supports 10 devices and has a readable LCD display with "normal keys".

I think its much better value than the all-for-one remotes as apart from anything else it has 10 programmable macros (each has 20 steps)... nice :-)
