NEWS ON THE SECOND GEN WHARFDEALE 750S RGEION SPECIFIC HACK!

Hi all you people out ther ewith Whardeale 750s second generation players.
In Mutiregion-hack on this web site it states the hacks for the Whardeale 750s second generation but I have found that it is wrong in part of the way in which it explans how to change your player to region specific.
Hear is the way I found to do it.

1) Press open/close button on your remote controls to open the tray.
2) Before the tray fully opens you type 0, 7, 5 and then 0 in order one at a time but still faster than the tray opens. If you don`t type it in fast enough you will only beable to type three digits in and then a hand will appear in the top left corner of the screen. You will have to start all over again if this happens. If you have managed to type in all four digits before the tray opens go to step 3.
3) Now press which region code you want 1=region 1. 2=region 2 and so on.
4) This were it changes ((only on some models)) after you haave typed in the number region you want this site says that it will display the word region and the number you have chosen in the top of the screen, this is wrong. It will infact only display the number. To try to see if the hack has worked right you do it again but select another region bar 2 and then try inserting a region 2 disk it will try to load it but show an error message telling you that the disk is not the right region, this is how you know it has worked.

I know this works as I have tryed it myself after following the instructions and finding that it does not do exactly what they say, Pulled my hair out over it if only they would word thing right.
Hope this help some of you out there with the same sort of problems.
May I state that it may only work with some models were as the hack on this site may work for the other half of the people that this hack does no.

Wharfedale 750 to a 750s

for all of you people out ther with a Wharfedale 750 dont panic if all you want is a very good DVD player the just up grade tto the 750s. But if you want all the extras like mp3 and CD-R/CD-RW and i think VCD`s to,fine you recete and that it back and change it for the boxed 750s DVD Player and you will be able to play well everything when I give you the region free code.

You have to use the hand controls to hack the 750s to make it region free.

1) turn the DVD Player on
2) Press OPEN/CLOSE on the hand controls so that the tray opens
3) Press STEP OR II then BACK then FORWARD
4) Thats it you will see REGION FREE flash up in the top left corner of the screen.
5) The DVD Player will reset itself and now be a multiregion player.

To reset it to factory settings

1) turn the DVD Player on
2) Press OPEN/CLOSE on the hand controls so that the tray opens
3) Press SLOW then BACK then FORWARD
4) The DVD Player will dsplay the first settings code in the top of the screen and the reset itself now your DVD Player will be as new.

Hope this helps all the question on the Wharfedale DVD Player 750s.

The Tescos 750s DVD Player is fineas long as you have the 750s player

If you havn`t taken back your DVD Player yet!
What a min coz if you get the latest DVD mag (Total DVD) with Buffy the vamp slayer on front, it has the phone number of the tescos techinical help line and they will send someone out to upgrade you player to a 750s free of charge, which has all the needed chips and extras that you need for a great DVD player. I got a 750s and I have hacked it to a multiregion and everything works fine I also have the codes to make it region spersific (all is explained it the mag above as ther is an two page artical on the 750s)
When you get it canged you will see the difference I think it is a great DVD Player with the same quolitys as some of the more expencive players.

Hope this helps everybody that has questions about the 750s DVD Player.
