Enter The Dragon

Can anyone tell me if the R4 Ausie version of Enter The Dragon is uncut? It appears as though it is longer than the cut UK version.

RE: Experience of LeConcepts?

I purchased 2 pioneer 636d`s from them this week, both arrived next the next day. Good customer service. Recommend leconcepts.com and pioneer 636. They also do a price match garauntee.

RE: BEST MULTI-REGION DVD PLAYER........

I`ve managed to get some extra cash, so I`m buying the Pioneer 636D. I noticed that leconcepts.com are selling the 717 for the same price. Isn`t this a better player ?

RE: pioneer site

Go to www.pioneer.co.uk - choose DVD players - then select 535 from the drop down menu.

Ironduke - about Artifacts

You seem to know a lot about this subject. I`m getting a modified Pioneer 535 . Am I likely to see many artifacts ?

Also can you recommend I site for purchasing this machine.

RE: BEST MULTI-REGION DVD PLAYER........

Sorry for the spelling lievn. I think I`ll buy this one. I`m not very technical, but I`ve been reading a lot about firmware, do most players have upgradeable firmware ? if so does it make any significant amount of difference ?

Whats the Techtonics web site URL ? Although I`ve read their mods are fitted to well.

RE: BEST MULTI-REGION DVD PLAYER........

Did you get a modified 636, if so where did you get it from ?

RE: BEST MULTI-REGION DVD PLAYER........

Okay, I`ve almost made up my mind to get the Pioneer DV535. Any recommedations as to where I should buy it ? I`m considering linkonline.co.uk, any experience on this company ?

Also is there someplace I can read a review on the Pioneer (hopefully one done in the last couple of months) ?

Levin, is the picture close to the quality of the slightly more expensive pioneer`s like the 7** ?

RE: I WANT A NEW PLAYER, BUT WHICH ONE?

The swich-it-on site seems like something to be checked out, no address except a PO Box, no product details etc.....hhhmmmmm

Has anyone purchased from them ?

BEST MULTI-REGION DVD PLAYER........

I want a good quality multi-region DVD player for under £300 (no need for Mp3). I have looked at the following modified machines from multiregionmagic.co.uk and linkonline.co.uk;

Pioneer DV535 £225 (incl. VAT and delivery)
Panasonic DVDRV40 £249 (incl. VAT + £12 deliv)
Sony DVP S335 £279 (incl. VAT + £12 deliv)
Sony DVPS535 £340 (incl. VAT and delivery) (a bit too much)

Which would you advise ? Or is it better to get a multi-region player that hasn`t been modified ? I have also heard the Sony can be put into test mode (does anyone know hot to do this ?)
