About this user: Having bought an Ariston DVD last weekend - i cannot play ` Pulp Fiction ` which is the only dual layer DVD i have - has anybody got a cure for this ( i have managed to get a half decent picture by changing the OP PROH field to 13 in the hidden setup menu ) but this disables the features menu and gives a letter box screen - any ideas ??? ( By the way - the lower half of the picture was the original problem which breaks up ) Richer sounds cannot offer any info. Helpppppp !!!!!!

I have now got a Samsung aswell and mine does not show letterbox format but probably blows up the picture and elongates people.

I have just changed my Ariston for a Samsung at Richer Sounds as I was having probs playing Pulp Fiction ( dual layer ) and also CD`s. They were unable to hack it for me as they did not have a region 1 disk !!! I have also invested in a Cambridge Audio M1 remote. Does anybody know if these remotes can be programmed to do the hack ???
