RE: Tevion Aldi 1GB MP3 Player - playing individual folders?

If pushing and holding the lever to the right doesn`t work from root, it sounds like something is wrong. I think that "music", and the other "levels" come from Windows Media Player, so there could be a problem there. I should point out that I am new to all this, far from an expert! Good luck.

RE: Tevion Aldi 1GB MP3 Player - playing individual folders?

You may have worked it out by now, but if not, here goes. There is a hierarcy for the folders, which goes (on mine) root - music - artist - album - track. When you have a track selected, press down the menu button, and then click left to navigation. Press menu again, and the track name should be highlighted. By then holding the button to the left, you can go up the hierarcy. It is a bit fiddly, and happens quickly, so you can miss "levels" if you`re not on the ball, but you`ll get used to it. Once in a "level", by flicking the next and previous thingy you can work your way back and forth through them. Once you`ve found the track you want, press the stop/play button twice and it should start to play. It sounds a bit tricky, but once you get the hang of it, it works o.k.

The problem I`ve found with mine is the capacity. Folders that the "sync" bit of Windows say are present don`t seem to be on the player, and with plenty of memory capacity left. Also if I try to add things to it, it overwrites previously loaded songs. Have you found this?

Ian.
