looking for a cheap secondhand mac of some sort.
with leopard installed on it.
dont really want to spend too much just looking for something to dump itunes music on really.

yes there is but they are turned on i have also updated the bios to the latest version but that also hasnt made a difference, im now wondering whether there is a fault with the motherboard.

lol yeh i do but no this time i havent its a blocked connector so i can only get it in one way anyway, ive also tried it in the other usb ports that are on the motherboard.

for some reason my computer wont pick up any usb devices on the front ports on my case, but i have no troubles in the back, i have been into the bios and it picks it up in there when someting is plugged into the front.
i have checked the usb cable and it is plugged into the motherboard correctly, its a antec 1200 case.
its running with windows xp home edition sp3
when i plug in the device e.g data stick the light on the stick comes on for about 2 seconds and then nothing.
i have been into the disk management tool but it doesnt show up in there either.

anyone have any ideas as to what it can be causing the problem?

i have finally decided to install mac onto my pc.
i was wondering if anyone could once again give me ideas on how to do it.
i tried the link milesr gave me last year but it doesnt open anymore.

i currently have vista home premium installed on it and i want to do a dual boot of macosx and vista
