RE: TECHNIKA LCD19DVDID-108

Try;

1. make sure disc drive is empty
2. when you see `no disc` displayed press 9 7 3 5
3. scroll to `region`, press r/hand arrow to highlight default region
4. select region 0 for multi region playback
5. scroll down to exit setup
6. press `ok` on remote
7. turn off tv, turn back on and voila!

This seems to work for all 15 to 22 inch lcd tv/dvd combis from technika

RE: Pacific DVD/TV Combo PDVTV 14-100. Does anyone know a hack for this one?

Hi, I bought a cheap combi from ASDA, took it home and immediately made it multi region. When it went wrong after a few months we took it back and they replaced it with a pacific pdtv 14-100. I`ve been trying to find a code ever since. I`ve written to ASDA but got no reply (not that I really expected to!). I once found a site that charges some money to provide hacks for machines that aren`t on the regular sites such as this one and it did mention this machine, but my natural instinct is to not pay money for something that shouldn`t cost anything. If the code was available anyway I feel sure that someone would have posted it here by now! I took the back off the TV this morning to see if I could identify either the player or maybe a piece of hardware that controls the region but no joy. My son will have to watch the r3/r1 films downstairs!
