RE: Chatterbox Lies...

I applied after 6 months (on 17 Jan 05), and I finally received my cashback at the weekend, after a LOT of chasing (So it wasn`t split 6, 9 and 12)

Maybe you could try emailing this person direct, she sent one of the more sensible and specific replies I reveived.

maragesamurahT.yenanaJ[at]moc.xobrettahc

I suggest adding the following lines to the top of your email as I didn`t get a real response until I added them:

Quote:
PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE, I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CONTACT YOU FOR MORE THAN A WEEK.

IF I DO NOT RECEIVE A REPLY WITHIN 48 HOURS I WILL BE SEEKING LEGAL ADVICE.

Also, title your email with your order number, and send an email everyday to all four emails given on the website:
Customer Services: troppus[at]moc.xobrettahc
Sales Enquiries: selas[at]moc.xobrettahc
Cashback Enquiries: kcabhsac[at]moc.xobrettahc
Returns: snruter[at]moc.xobrettahc

I read this in another forum: If you are still having problems I`d also recommend them to send a complain to Trading Standards http://www.tradingstandards.gov.uk If you input your postcode you will see your nearest branch and you can email them your complaint.

Chatterbox Lies...

If you get an email like the following, it`s lies! I had one of these about 4 weeks before they finally paid me.... and they`ve just sent me another one, dated 2 days after they had authorised the payment to me!! This was in reply to an earlier email, so they obviously send these out as a matter of course, without even checking against your records.

Quote:
Dear Customer

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.

We would like to confirm that your Cashback has been processed and the amount should reflect in your account within 2 weeks.

Kind Regards,
chatterbox.com

Again, good luck!

RE: Chatterbox.com Cashback

GOOD NEWS

To give you some hope... I actually received the cash in my bank account this morning! Truely amazing.

The email that finally got them to respond was:

Quote:
To: kcabhsac[at]moc.xobrettahc
Subject: Order No 01234XXX1243

PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE, I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CONTACT YOU FOR MORE THAN A
WEEK.

IF I DO NOT RECEIVE A REPLY WITHIN 48 HOURS I WILL BE SEEKING LEGAL ADVICE.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please don`t just ignore this like you usually do. I know you are
receiving these messages as you`ve replied once (see below). I have
complied with all of your terms and conditions, fairs fair.

I sent my cashback claim by special delivery on 17 January 2005, and still
have not received my cashback. You told me two weeks ago by email (see
below - I attached the email they had sent me previously) that my claim was being dealt with and I should have received
payment by now. Can you please look into this.

My details are also below.
- I attached a previous email giving my:
Address,
Mobile Number,
Network,
Tarriff,
Amount of Cashback,
Special delivery ref. number

Thanks,

Alex.

I hope you get there in the end, never give up!

To anyone else who is thinking of buying from chatterbox.com, in my experience it is not as easy to get your cashback as it should be.

RE: Chatterbox.com Cashback

I won`t fully believe it until I actually see the cash, but after a week of sending an email to chatterbox everyday, (getting stronger as the week`s gone on) I`ve just had a phone call (landline at work, not mobile, strangely enough) from chatterbox.com saying that they have authorised and sent the payment, but that it will take 3 working days to arrive. I`ll let you know how I got on.

I don`t know if it made any difference, but I work for a well known financial company and sent it from my work address. Fingers crossed that this isn`t another chtterbox lie.

Chatterbox.com Cashback

Hi,

I am also having difficulty with Catterbox.com and their cashback offer. I sent my statements on 17 January 05 and have received nothing. I must have sent them 20 emails, and I received only one reply about three weeks ago saying that I would be paid within 2 weeks. Since then, nothing. Did you get anywhere?

Thanks,

Al.
