RE: Swap Magic 3.0 with sliding tool
Hi,
The magic switch does not enable you to close the slimline ps2 lid whilst playing back ups which in turn increases the laser speed and burns out the laser. The Slimtool enables you to close the lid, and keep it closed, keeping your laser from burning out.
It is also easier to fit to your slimlime ps2 and lasts for longer.
www.ps2slimtool.co.uk.tc is the UK wholesaler and also ships overseas
RE: Swap Magic 3.0 with sliding tool
no internal adjustments were neccesary, all i had to do with the slim tool was clip the tools in place and away i went.
i got mine from www.ps2slimtool.co.uk.tc, the owner Ray was very helpful, he wasn`t selling singles at first, there was a min order of ten, but now sells singles.

RE: Swap Magic 3.0 with sliding tool
i bought a slim tool from www.ps2slimtool.co.uk.tc
had no probs at all with it, unlike the magic switch that lasted two days in my new ps2.
i had my order delivered three days after payment, and i received it by recorded delivery.
the postage was free.
