i too have had to connect to my philips via the dvi cable,i have succesfully got it working picture wise but have no sound, i would appreciate some advice as how to connect it to my existing pioneer dcs 3903 home theatre kit as i am not overly technical some easy to follow instructions would be very welcome.
ps i purchased mine last thursday from aldi in kidderminster so they may still be available in other stores.

Just popped down to my locaL SOMERFIELD and behind the cigarette counter was a maxim portable dvdplayer (7"tft monitor) reduced to £67.49 from £89.99, i cant give you anymore details as i didnt ask to look at it but i believe the model was a MAXIM 11 300.
