hi my brother -in law has a dvd and tv combined., he can watch region 2 dvd`s.
Can he hack this to let him watch region 1 dvd`s?

Can anyone tell me how to unlock Siemens sl55 properly?

Hello..
i have tried the unlocker programs i found but when asked to type * 3 or 4 times to get p,w,r i cannot get my mobile to do this.. :(

When i quickly press * the required amount of times it just keeps repeating *** etc..



Its driving me barmy can anyone help? :/

Hi I have a Panasonic A160 DVD and it only plays pal dvd`s.
where can I get this disc that you talk about and will this enable my dvd player to play US dvds..?

ATI DVD PLAYER ON PC...HACKABLE??

HI,
Not sure I know what I am talking about, I have the above dvd drive in my computer and can only play region 1 discs..
Does anybody know if it can be changed to play region 2 discs..?

Any help is much appreciated, also what is the firmware..?

I have a chance of the above dvd, do not know very much about this model, I was going to swap some items I have , value roughly £90-£100..
for this dvd...

Is this a fair swap..?
Can this be remotely hacked to play reg. 1&2..?
Does it play any thing other than dvd`s? ie: cd-rw..vcd`s?
Please can you get back to me real soon as got to tell them if deal is on or off...

Hi again Comrades,
I have a problem, I bought at auction on yahoo my first vcd for my son called the grinch..
Try as hard as I can it will not play on my sons dvd player, grundig 210a, remote hacked to multi-region.
I think this is not an original vcd but probably a copy, will it never play vcd copys??
Any advice welcome.

Another problem with macrovision is , my son has a tv-video combi which does not allow him to play his dvd`s on this..because of that ***macrovision.
His dvd player was a new xmas pressie, bought not knowing we would have any problems as nobody told us this before we purchased this dvd.

Now he has my living-room telly and we now watch our video`s and stuff on this small screen combi...Other than purchase another telly we have no solution..

MACROVISION DISABLE for Grundig 210A..? SOB SOB...

Help,
Still desperatly seeking the macrovision disable for my sons Grundig 210A...Remote hack worked fine , using the proline one...(I think)....
Also where does one send back these discs back to ? usually the second disk which does not work..
Some of my discs are REGION 1 , Will this be a probelm to return??
Any help appreciated...jimbo?

My son has a grundig 210a and remotly now a multiregion, trouble is its a tv-video combi and unable to play discs properly need the macrovision disable hack that will work ???

I have a grundig 210a and have used this proline hack very successfully no problem...
I would imagine it should work with yours.
Hope this helps, let me know if it does.

1. Open the disc tray
2. Place a region 1 disc in the tray, but don`t close it
3. Press the buttons 0, 1, 2 and then 3 on your remote control in order, one at a time
4. Press the play button on either your remote or the player
To return this player back to Region 2 only and its factory default settings
1. Open the disc tray
2. Press the Zoom button on your remote control
3. Press the Return button on your remote control
4. Your player should now go into Standby mode
5. Press the Power button on your remote control
To return this player to Region 2 only (alternative method)
1. Open the disc tray
2. Place a region 2 disc in the tray, but don`t close it
3. Press the buttons Return and then Play on your remote control in order, one at a time

Hi, My son has a grundig dvd 210A, I have enabled the regional hack and it works fine....Trouble is he uses his combi tv-video with dvd player..
All seems fine, but all his dvd films except one plays erratically...
ie: flickers to a blue screen then in secs goes back to film , does this a lot.. canNot watch dvd`s properly, which I suppose means its his tv-video which is at fault, as dvd`s work perfectly on my living room telly...
But strange thing is one dvd film plays all through?????????? , its AbsolutlyFabulous dvd reg 2 , why I do not know...
Any solutions are welcomed..

I to am using the hack for multi region and works no problem, plays reg 1&2 fine..Can anybody tell me if this dvd can play CD-R `s if so how , if not why?? Also what is the difference between VCD`S & CD-R`S...
