RE: my so called life

Jonpy - comiserations my friend. Don`t worry too much though, I`m sure within a few years at the most it will be available again. I doubt you`d be missing much with a burned set as the box-set is pretty awfully and unoriginally designed.... the only good thing about it is that it`s very sturdy simply because there is a different single-amary case for every disk.

I guess it`s quite fitting that one of the most unique and short-lived TV shows should end up being one of the rarest DVD sets there is.

RE: my so called life

There are rumblings that there will be a re-release of this superlative title by Buena Vista (who now own the rights) within about a year. But nothing has been confirmed.

Note, all the usual ones on eBay are burned copies. The genuine set was in production for only 5 months, 3 years ago.... so if you want that you`d have to pay a serious premium.

All the best.

RE: Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me question

No one seems to know whether the second season will ever be released. I`ve heard vaguely that it will but seen nothing concrete.... seeing how long it`s been since the first was released they sure do seem do be messing around.

I absolutely loved the first season (maybe tailed off a bit towards the end) and wanted to see the second as soon as I could... but the little info I could find on it was universally negative. Also if I remember correctly David Lynch had nothing to do with the second season.

Quickest UK delivery of Simpsons 6 (R1) as of now???

Hi,
anyone know which store will deliver this set the quickest to a UK address as of now. Won`t bore you with the details but must have it before next Friday (a week today), but ASAP would be preferable.

Many thanks

Region 1 Picture Quality better than Region 2???

Hi everyone,
now I know PAL has more horizontal lines of resolution that NTSC and therefore should be better. But from watching the few Region 1 discs I have (and on my laptop no less) it kinda seems that Region 1 transfers seem to keep more of that celluloid "glow" and character of Film than Region 2/PAL. So is it all just in my head because the discs are from the US or could there be any technical validity to this??

Many thanks.
