RE: TOSHIBA SD220E PROBLEM
To Choagy & Colin Wilson---
Thanks for your offers of help--apologies for not getting back to you both sooner. Have decided to confront Richer Sounds about this--the player clearly has not been chipped to multi-region despite my paying a £30 premium for it when I bought it from them--I think the resolution of my problem rests in their hands (ie they re-programme it or supply me with a new/replacement player)--I don`t see why I should have to actually do anything, as the fault is theirs initially. (good job I`m fairly well up on the Sale of Goods Act legislation!!!).
Once again, many thanks for the advice--your quick responses have rekindled my belief in the generosity of my fellow man!
RE: TOSHIBA SD220E PROBLEM
Thanks for that but already tried it--doesn`t work. Have played non-Region 2 discs before on the player and had no problem. No fault with the disc, cos it plays on my pc fine. Can only assume there`s something wrong with my player--looks like a call to Richer Sounds helpline tomorrow!
Cheers anyway!
TOSHIBA SD220E PROBLEM
Can anyone please help? I`m now the world`s worst daddy cos Santa (yours truly
) brought my daughter Finding Nemo (Region 1) and, although my SD220E was bought pre-chipped as multiregion, I can`t get the blasted disc to play!!!! Before my child leaves home in disgust, can someone tell me what I`m doing wrong (or not doing, as the case may be)...
Yours in desperation,
